Growing up, I spent time in the mountains of North Carolina and East Tennessee, and I've always felt drawn to the beauty, culture, and traditions of Appalachia. There is something about the region that feels both welcoming and mysterious, where generations of storytelling have woven folklore into the landscape itself.

Inspired by these memories, I created Appalachian Folklore, a custom illustrated toile pattern exploring the legends, mysterious creatures, and mountain traditions that make this region so fascinating. From the Moon-Eyed People and Mothman to Granny Women and the elusive Wampus Cat, each illustration offers a glimpse into the stories hidden among the mountains.
